  • We accept various payment options for our services, including HSA (health savings account), cash, credit, or debit cards.

  • The expense associated with ortho-k fitting can vary depending on various factors that influence the complexity of each case. These factors include the degree of myopia, corneal curvature, and myopia management risk factors in children.

Considering these variables, the initial program's cost typically ranges between $2,750-$3450, which covers all fitting appointments and includes the cost of lenses. The pricing structure reflects the individualized approach taken to ensure the best possible outcome for each patient undergoing ortho-k treatment.

Once the initial ortho-k treatment lenses have been finalized, subsequent annual appointments generally cost approximately half of the initial fitting program. These appointments cover a new pair of lenses, follow-up examinations and adjustments if needed. Replacement lenses are recommended on an annual basis to maintain care of lenses.

The reduced cost for subsequent years reflects the ongoing maintenance and support required to ensure the effectiveness and comfort of the ortho-k treatment. It allows for continued monitoring of the child's myopia progression and the necessary adjustments to optimize the treatment's long-term success.

  • The first year orthokeratology program includes:

    • Initial orthokeratology fitting, evaluation, and follow-up appointments for 3 months.

    • All lens changes made by the doctor within 90 days of initial dispense

    • Final pair of lenses

  • Replacement ortho-k lenses are considered a separate cost and are typically recommended on an annual basis.

As part of the ongoing ortho-k treatment, it is essential to periodically replace the lenses to maintain optimal visual correction and hygiene. The frequency of replacement may vary depending on factors such as wear and tear, lens material, and the individual's specific needs.

By regularly replacing the lenses, the effectiveness of the ortho-k treatment can be maximized, ensuring continued clarity of vision and overall eye health.

  • Ortho-k focuses on correcting the front surface of the eye to improve vision. A comprehensive eye exam is still necessary to assess the overall health of your eyes, including the back of the eye, such as the retina.

Your comprehensive annual eye exam with your primary eye care provider allows for the monitoring of any potential eye conditions, including those unrelated to the cornea, ensuring the early detection and management of any issues that may arise. Therefore, it is essential to continue scheduling regular comprehensive eye exams in addition to ortho-k contact lens fittings.

  • We want you to be happy with your ortho-k expectations. If you are unable to adapt to the ortho-k treatment within 90 days of the lens dispensing, we will refund you 50% of the program fee with the return of the lenses.
